‘UN/SPOOL’ at Queensland Poetry Festival
Nathan Shepherdson and I will be performing a cinematic response to Maya Deren’s Meshes of the Afternoon called UN/SPOOL at Queensland Poetry Festival on Sunday 31st August, 3pm at the Judith Wright Centre.
The very lovely Tessa Mullen interviewed us here.
The QPF program looks fantastic this year and there are many poets to see, both locally and from abroad. Our session is called Fly in Formation and also features Christian Bök and Ian Gibbins. Entry is free for most of the festival.
Here is a glimpse into the kind of thing Nathan and I have been getting up to, a joint poem called reading smoke from the cutting room floor.
